I want all my SMASHing friends to Save Money And Stay Home with your kids. Part of saving money is not buying a lot of home cleaners. I also want to encourage you not to put a lot of unneeded chemicals in your home.
Three tips:
1. Do not use store bought chemical oven cleaner. If your oven needs to be cleaned sprinkle baking soda and vinegar in your oven. Let it sit over night. Wipe out the mixture and anything that is left over in your oven can be scaped out with ease. This is a very cheap and safe way to clean your oven.
2. Clean you Microwave and make your kitchen smell good at the same time for FREE. Place a small dish of water with a few drops of lemonade in your microwave and cook for 5 minutes. The steam in the microwave can be wiped out and your microwave is clean without using any chemicals and your kitchen will smell of fresh lemonade.
3. Keep frost off your car's windows. Mix a spray bottle with 1/2 water and 1/2 vinegar. Spray on your windows the night before the frost. When you leave for work or school the next morning you will over little or no frost on your car's windows.
