1/2 price lunch and FREE Ice Cream from Baskin Robbins

The goal of this blog is to help you think of ways to have fun and save money at the same time. Today is our anniversary and we are going to have a nice meal together without the kids. Here is my tip to save money. Go on your date at lunch time. At many restaurants you can cut your bill in half by eating at lunch time. Drink water. Cokes are as much as $2.50 each at some restaurants. For a family of five that should be $12.50 for Coke alone before tax and tip...CRAZY!  I also plan to use my P.F. Changs coupon. Kroger paid me $0.75 to pay 15 Nestle Crunch Bars

This is a crazy good deal. My Kroger has 1.55 oz Nestle Crunch bars for $0.10 each. To make it even better for every 5 candy bars you buy you get a coupon for $0.75 off your next purchase of anything at Kroger(excluding Alcohol, Tobacco & RX). So the price of the candy bars was $1.50 and I got coupons that totaled $2.25 off my next purchase so Kroger paid me to buy candy and freeze it for summer treats for the kids. Go look and see if the same deal is going on at your Kroger.
